Tips and Tricks

I hope this page will help you with all the different aspects to Bakery story! Let me know if you have any questions and i will try and answer them!

Food

* If food takes 1 hour or less to cook then it will spoil 1 hour after it has finished cooking.

* The food will spoil in the same time it took to cook it. For example if it took 8 hours to cook, it will spoil after 8 hours.

* A Bakery story Day is 22 hours and not 24 hours so if food takes 1 day to cook it will take 22 hours to cook and then 22 hours to spoil. Confused? yep! lol

* Here is how many times you need to cook and serve a recipe to reach the next level of cooking :
Level 1 - 8
Level 2 - 15
Level 3 - 20
Level 4 - 40

Neighbours

* If you Have lots and lots of neighbours, i would recommend tipping half one day and then half the next, so that the game isn't just about tipping neighbours. It can get a bit tedious!

* I think a great amount of neighbours is about 50 as it's not too many and they will still be able to help you get parts quickly for goals.

*The maximum amount of gifts you can get in a day from neighbours is 20, so don't be afraid to decline any gifts that you don't need if ,say, you are trying to build something or complete a goal.This '20' doesn't include requested parts!

* All food gifts sell for the same amount of money in your Bakery, for example, you get 200 brownies which sell for 1 coin each, and you get 50 cappuccinos which sell for 4 coins each, this would mean that you get 200 coins for each.

* The limit on how much food you can store in the gifts section is 32,767 servings of each recipe.

Gems

* Cook food and get gems on level 2 and 4 on each recipe, you get 1 gem for reaching both levels.

* Some goals with give gems as rewards on a certain task, this is normally about half way through a goal.

* By downloading games that are advertised on Bakery story, you will be given a goal that gives you gems when completed. you can then get given more goals to do with the game, this will give you even more gems!

* The goals to complete after downloading these games are often just something like buy a chair or table. I think it's worth it!

Collectibles

*Floral Bouquet - Purchase wall decorations or wallpaper - Completing this will get you a flower trophy.

* Cooking tools - Tables, chairs, decorations, appliances, tipping neighbours - this will get you some wall utensils.

* Chef implements - Cook any recipe - This will get you 30,000 coins and 750 XP.

* Baking goodness - Cook pie, bread and tea -  this will get you a bread basket.

* Yummy ingredients - Cook any cake, cookie, coffee specials or donuts - This will get you 20,00 coins and 1,000 XP.

These should be random, but i think that some items are 'Rarer' than others. I have lots of some and find it really hard to get others!

General

Ovens - The amount of ovens you can have out in your bakery on levels of the game.
